There were eight of us plus George, who had a new lead after chewing through the last one.
This is not an area of Derbyshire that is regularly walked and the paths were not very clear in places. But we only went wrong once and a 10 mile walk turned into an 11 mile one. One of the problems was that Roger was at the front, but didn't have a copy of the route. He knew where he was but that was not necessarily where we were meant to be.
We did take another detour because some members of the party did not fancy walking through a particular field of young cows.
The rain was on and off for most of the day but it only tipped it down once we were back at the cars.
